Skiptastic — Skip hire software, made simple.

Know Where Your Skips Are

Give every skip its own number and record each delivery, exchange and collection against it. Skiptastic shows the office where it was last left, what state it is in and how it got there.

Where are our skips?

The asset list shows each numbered skip and whether it is available, assigned, on hire or unavailable. Open a skip to see the customer site, related job and movements that brought it to its current state.

  • Unique skip numbers
  • Current working state
  • Customer and site details
  • Delivery, exchange and collection movements
  • Earlier movement history

Track the movement, not just a map pin

A delivery places a numbered skip at the site. An exchange records both the skip being collected and the replacement going out. A collection brings the on-hire skip back into the return process. These job events keep the yard list accurate without relying on a location note that someone has to remember to update.

  • Available for dispatch
  • Assigned to a job
  • On hire at a customer site
  • Exchanged or collected
  • Maintenance and retirement states

Clear about GPS

Skiptastic tracks each skip through recorded job movements; it does not pretend there is a GPS device attached to every skip.

Driver location can be shared with authorised office staff while the driver is working. That helps the office follow the day's progress, but it is separate from skip tracking.

Make overdue work actionable

Requested collection dates and on-hire history help the team find skips that need attention. Staff can move from the asset to the related customer or job rather than working through an unconnected list.

Buyer questions

Does Skiptastic GPS-track every skip?

No. Skiptastic records each skip's identity, operational status, assigned customer site and movement history. It does not claim a physical GPS tracker is fitted to every skip.

Can Skiptastic track exchanges?

Yes. Exchange workflows distinguish the collected skip from the replacement and require the necessary asset confirmation before completion.

Can staff see earlier movements?

Yes. The inventory area provides recent movement history with pagination for earlier events.
